ABOUT US
In 1854, Lincoln University was established as the nation’s first-degree granting Historically Black College & University (HBCU). 1859 – The first Lincoln University, then the Ashmun Institute, graduate was James Ralston Amos. The Alumni Association was formed at the next commencement. Since 1872, the Lincoln University Alumni Association has served and supported the university, the alumni, loyal friends, and the surrounding Lincoln University community.
